Dr. Erica Lee earned her Psy.D. in school psychology from the Graduate School of Applied and Professional Psychology at Rutgers University. She has experience working with school aged children as a school psychologist and obtained her M.A. in Clinical Child and Adolescent Psychology at Montclair State University.
Dr. Lee specializes in working with children, adolescents, and their families who have experienced trauma. She also has experience working with children who present with both internalizing and externalizing issues including ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, oppositional defiant disorder, depression, and anxiety. Dr. Lee primarily uses cognitive behavioral therapy methods. She has been extensively trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), the Attachment, Regulation, and Competency treatment framework, and Game-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (GB-CBT).
Dr. Lee uses a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy and personalized techniques to cater to unique lives of her clients. She brings in aspects of play therapy in addition to more static techniques to individualize therapy and keep children’s interest. In her free time, Dr. Lee enjoys spending time with her family and dog and playing softball, kickball, and basketball.
